Tartuffe
For their 2016 Fringe production, Reading University Drama Society's (RUDS) took their 1960s spin on Molière's Tartuffe to Edinburgh.
Tasked with creating something which would stand out against dozens of others on Edinburgh's Royal Mile, colour, humour and little bit of raunchiness were top of the agenda in producing promotional material.
The final series of four illustrations, which would be applied to posters, flyers and social media elements, included: a crucifix, and pair of lips (modelled on 60s icon Twiggy's) - playing off the play's themes of sex and religion, the character Tartuffe (styled on Andy Warhol) and a scene from the play, involving cleavage and a handkerchief.
Besides the printed designs, I was also tasked with taking promotional photos of the cast in full costume before the production moved up to Edinburgh.
